Where does our income come from?
Mum’s and Dad’s, DIY’ers and Tradesman hire our Trailer Trash bins in order to remove their rubbish during a spring clean, de-clutter, home renovation or from their worksite. You deliver an empty bin and then collect it 1-7 days later when it’s most likely full.
PRICING
Bin hire to the customer is $150-450 (depending on bin size and area) and price includes all waste fees and delivery charges.
SERVICE
You deliver an empty bin and then collect it 1-7 days later when it’s most likely full. Our very important suppliers then come to our depots and empty the bins so that you can deliver them to the next customer.
YOUR TERRITORY
Each franchise consists of an area of approximately 300,000 - 400,000 in residential population and is underpinned by postcodes that are exclusive to your franchise.
MARKETING and SALES
As part of a normal day you market directly to the local area through carrying out our local marketing plans and networking, building and leveraging off valuable local relationships with tradesman, real estate agents and other important target markets. These marketing activities generate calls into our in-house call centre where our agents handle bookings, job scheduling and follow-up calls using our cutting edge software which also manages all online bookings and bookings referred by our key 3rd party suppliers.
GROWTH
Trailer Trash is focussed on growth for all of our franchisees. We expect your territory will grow quarter on quarter as your marketing efforts start to pay off and there is unlimited revenue potential! Ideally you will spend the first 12 months in a hands-on capacity in order to get a complete understanding of your territory. After that we encourage you to take on more bins, employ staff and spend as much time as possible working ON your business and not as much in it
COSTS
Your $80,000 investment includes upfront franchise fees, deposit on a vehicle and all other start-up costs as well as up to $10,000 for an initial introductory advertising program so you hit the ground running. The royalties are 6% of gross revenue and there is a contribution to the Marketing Fund of 4.5%-6% which is spent completely on marketing the brand.
TRAILER STASH MOBILE SELF STORAGE
With the success of Trailer Trash Skip Hire in Australia, the Trailer Trash Group looked at an associated industry seeking to bring the same efficiences and innovation to it. The result was Trailer Stash Mobile Self Storage. Started in Melbourne in 2011, Trailer Stash delivers 10 cubic metre self storage units to workplaces, homes, offices and commercial spaces. The savings in time and effort are enormous. The self storage unit only needs to be loaded once, after which it is returned to the secure Trailer Stash self storage facility where it is stowed until it is needed back by the storer.
This innovative self storage system was started in Melbourne in mid-2011, and is scheduled to be rolled out across the country.
